Easter 6 (C)

Hello Friends,
Once again, you’ve all earned gold stars by learning an entire anthem within a single rehearsal. You all are amazing. I’ve said it many times before, and I’ll say it again: we may be small, but we are mighty!

We had a few holes in our schedule as of Wednesday, so here’s the full run-down:

Entrance Antiphon Hymn to the tune Sine Nomine (often sung to the text “For all the saints”). You can preview the melody by clicking here.

Entrance Antiphon: Fr. Weber #819

Psalm 67: “O God let all the nations praise You!” — I did not have enough time to make a normal practice track, but here is a quick organ recording just to refresh your memory.

Offertory Anthem: Peace I Leave With You by Amy Beach — You did such an excellent job with this on Wednesday; please be sure to give this a listen through once or twice just to make sure we really have it cemented well. Odds are we will end up singing it twice through.

Communion Anthem: If Ye Love Me by Tallis. (For your viewing pleasure.)

Communion Hymn: With my whole heart I’ve sought Thy Face to the tune of ‘Nun Danket All Und Bringet Ehr’. This is a tune which should(?) be familiar to you; I believe we’ve done it in the past. But even if we have not, it is not difficult. Here’s the score along with a quick organ preview of how it goes. [You can click here to see the score in the event that the preview window below doesn’t show up properly on your device. Sometimes it loads, sometimes it doesn’t and I can't diagnose the issue at present.]

See you all Sunday morning!

Pax,
James
