DIOCESAN CHOIR: Diaconal Ordination • Hector Saldarriaga

Greetings all—
Here is our signup and ordo for Hector’s Diaconal ordination.

Ordination is the morning of Saturday, May 16th.

Choir warmups are at 8:30am
Mass starts at 10am

Attire is “Sunday best”.

The diocesan choir is open to anyone from the diocese who can sing (including by ear, if willing to prepare from home).

Gloria: Missa VIII (‘de Angelis’)

Note: Just as at the Chrism Mass, we will sing it with more energy than this (and a faster tempo) but this is a good practice track in terms of being very clear, with each phrase is easy to hear and digest. We will also sing in alternatim with the congregation; that is: we will sing every other phrase as a choir alone, with the congregation responding on the next phrase.
