Lent V (C)

Peace be to you—
Thank you for rolling with the punches on Wednesday and plowing through so much music! Now is the time of chastening for all choirs as we stretch ourselves to the absolute limit for love of Our Lord and His most holy Passion.

I know that this Sunday was not wholly fleshed out at the time of rehearsal, so please take a moment to scan this list to familiarize yourself with the rest of our music. Thank you for being so flexible and patient with me!

  • Entrance Antiphon Hymn: Judge me, O God of Justice to the tune of Llangloffan.

  • Entrance Antiphon: Fr. Weber #492

  • Missa XVII

  • Psalm: 126, The Lord has done great things for us; we are filled with Joy!

  • Offertory Hymn: Think gently of the Erring One to the tune of Morning Song:

  • Communion Motet: Take up thy cross and follow Me

  • Communion Hymn: God, in Thy Pity to the tune of Herzliebster Jesu:

  • Recessional Hymn: Lord, Thine Image Thou Hast Lent Me to the tune of All Saints. (This is a tune that we haven’t done in a while, but should ring familiar to you.)
