Terms & Conditions

  • Whenever you purchase a Psalm arrangement from our site, you are allowed to print as many copies as you need for one year. This means you can print a copy for every cantor and choir member you have!

We do, however, humbly request that you re-purchase any psalms you desire to use once per annum. This helps support the work of the composer and the maintenance of this site which is not free to operate.

Other works, such as organ music or choral motets have their own terms and conditions which will be spelled out on each product page. In general: vocal works intended for choirs permit multi-person printing whereas organ works permit printing only personal copies.

PDF’s may not be shared with 3rd parties. *

(*See the ‘Electronic Copies’ policy for exceptions.)

  • When you purchase music from Serviam Scores / PsalliteDomino.com, you are granted the right to stream / record / concertize the work. Only commercial recording right require a special license.

Unlike other publishers, if you sing a psalm setting during a mass that is live-streamed, you do not have to remove the recording from the web after one year. We simply ask that proper attribution is listed in the video description. Linking to this website is appreciated, as it facilitates further discovery of the work by interested 3rd parties.

  • When you purchase from this site, you receive links that permit you to download PDFs of the scores in question. These PDFs are only intended for the purchaser, and sharing is permitted in only very limited circumstances. A few exceptions include:

    • A choir director may email a PDF to a particular cantor for printing at home for self-prep, however a choir director may not email PDFs of psalms or choral motets to their entire choir or music department. (It is understood that choir directors downloading from this site are in turn preparing printed materials for their cantors & choirs.)

    • Organ solo works may not be shared with third parties. Anyone who is interested in acquiring the score(s) should be referred to this site to make their own purchase.

The only exception to these terms is if a work is composed for organ+voice or organ+instrument(s), in which case the PDF of the accompanying vocal or instrumental part(s) can be shared with the fellow performer(s), although offering print copies is preferred.

    ____

NB: At no point may you host these documents on any third-party website for others to download.

  • You are encouraged to share recordings of the works featured on this site—with proper attribution. When posting to social media such as YouTube, please provide a link to this site in the credits.

All not-for-profit activity is permitted, however commercial recording projects must contact the composer via this website’s contact form for more information.

NB: As is common for many recordings on YouTube, you may show LIMITED PORTIONS of the scores on screen, however you are not permitted to show the entire score without prior written consent. This is to help ensure copyright integrity.

For people desiring to view the entire score, they can be referred to this site or can often see a fully-animated video directly on the ServiamScores YouTube channel.
