Alleluia IV

$3.50

Originally written for masses with school children, this “chant-esque” Alleluia has been expanded for full SATB choir. This gospel acclamation is great for churches that have very small sanctuaries (and thus short gospel processions) and for daily/ school masses where directors seek to keep the music relatively short. Congregations (and choirs) take to this very quickly.

A comprehensive SATB practice video is available on the serviamscores YouTube channel.

Purchase of this score includes two editions: 1.) SATB (shown in the video), & 2.) melody and accompaniment only. Verse chords are provided in a condensed form for pointing; directors can write in (or use sticky notes) whichever verses are needed.

______

NB: the second measure of the verse tone starts with an optional (parenthesized) pickup chord; this is to help with the peculiarities of how linguistic stresses fall in English. Depending on the verse sung, this chord may either be employed or skipped.
