Presented here is the first optional text for Lenten gospel acclamations paired to the opening portion of the Kyrie from Missa XI, a.k.a. Missa Orbis Factor.
This version is set with the verses for Year A.
NB: the harmonization is conceived in the style of the Nova Organi Harmonia, however “ghost notes” have been added to help singers count the proper proportions, as values alternate between 2 and 3 pulses.
