Psalm 90 • If today you hear His voice... AND In every age, O Lord...

$2.50

James J. Richardson’s setting of Psalm 90, “If today you hear His voice, harden not your hearts.” The melody is based on the ancient Gregorian introit, ‘Domine, refugium factus es nobis’ which also treats Psalm 90. The verses are set to a psalm tone with appropriate harmonization.

UPDATE 8/2022: now included is a SECOND setting (based on the same ancient melody) with the alternate refrain, “In every age, O Lord, You have been our refuge.”

NB: the verses are interchangeable (text is the same). In one arrangement the harmonies are simplified, whereas in the other, the placement of harmonic shifts is more specific and verse dependent.

Once you have completed your purchase, you will receive an email with a special download link. You are permitted to print as many copies as your schola/choir requires for one year. We humbly request that you purchase any arrangements you use once per annum to help support the maintenance of this site and the work of the composer.
